School Improvement Priorities
Through a robust process of regular monitoring including, discussions with learners, looking at books, looking for learning observations, parent/pupil/staff/Governors surveys and learning walks, the following areas have been identified that will be a focus for the school during this academic year.
1. To further improve the standard and frequency of incidental Welsh spoken across the school each day
2. To strengthen leadership across the school by empowering both pupils and staff through structured initiatives
3. To improve attendance across the school and close the gap between pupils identified as FSM and non-FSM in particular pupils below 85%
4. To develop a culture of independence amongst pupils, encouraging them to take ownership of their learning and personal development.
5 . To improve the wellbeing of staff and pupils by creating a supportive, balanced, and healthy school environment that promotes emotional and physical wellbeing.
